Understanding CGPA to Percentage Converter
Converting a cumulative grade point average to a percentage is a policy question as well as an arithmetic question. Two institutions can use the same ten-point scale and still prescribe different conversion rules. This tool therefore asks you to select a named method or enter a custom linear rule. A linear rule consists of a multiplier and an offset: multiply the CGPA by the multiplier, then add the offset. The configured examples illustrate the arithmetic only and do not claim to represent your institution. Find the conversion statement on an official transcript, regulation or certificate before choosing a method. Enter your CGPA without prematurely rounding it, and check the maximum grade-point scale. The result card displays the formula and selected method so it can be checked independently. If a method produces a percentage outside zero to one hundred, the tool rejects that combination and asks you to verify the formula's valid range.
